The Horn is a popular instrument among forest dwellers for its ability to harmonize with the profound resonances of the Forest.
In the right hands, this instrument can create a dialogue with nature, allowing some degree of control over nearby plant life.

Used to unlock the Mushroom Dungeon, you'll find the Magical Forest Horn in the northern area of the Overgrown Ruins, among the ruins of the old abandon settlement.[1]

The Magical Forest Horn is required for progression through the Overgrown Ruins and into the Mushroom Dungeon. Once acquired, speak with the Forest Mother. She will play a song which unblocks a passageway leading into the dungeon.
