Doors are a core element and portals for The Reaper. At the beginning of the game, the Reaper arrives at the Reaping Commission Headquarters to receive a new job. Chandler the Handler introduces the player to the doors and gives some hints.
- The door stays open until the Reaper returns with his designated soul.
- While the door is open, the Reaper is mortal.
- Reaping souls powers the doors.
After beating the game, doors connecting to areas that are incomplete will glow with a pink haze.
